Captain, Captain Jack Sparrow

Today went to watch Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World's End (POTC). Don't worry, I'm not going to post any spoilers in here. Just a basic review.

What I like about the movie is the witty dialogue, and funny one liners. Captain Jack Sparrow was his fantastic funny and crazy self. Love his one liners. Johnny Depp delivers his lines with style and personality, making the character Jack Sparrow.......errr, Captain Jack Sparrow forever his, and his alone. If Johnny Depp won't do POTC movies anymore, there will be no new sequel .... at least not one that i'd be interested to watch. I like Orlando Bloom but I liked him more as a the oh-so-yummy blonde elf Legolas in LOTR. But, Orlando Bloom has managed to make his mark in this latest sequel of POTC. I liked his character more this time then in the last two movies.

I also like the character of Captain Barbossa (NOT captain to Jack Sparrow, unless someone is threatening to kill the ship's captain). He's very much a pirate. I'm glad that they decided to bring him back to life at the end of POTC2.

I seriously suggest that you brush up on your POTC history before you watch the movie, just to get more out of it. Why, you ask...... this time around the movie teases you with bits and pieces of the 1st and 2nd POTC movies and ties them all together wonderfully. If you've been a fan of POTC and have diligently watched and rewatched the first two movies then you will definitely and absotively LOVE it this time around.
